RawSpiceBar Subscription Spice Delivery Review

RawSpiceBar's Subscription Spice Service allows you to try cooking with exotic and delicious ingredients you may not have used before. Each delivery comes with three different spices to try. Recipe cards and an introduction to the theme help give you inspiration before you start cooking.



I received the Anguillan Spice Box. I loved learning about traditional Anguillan cooking with the introduction included with the spices. Three spice blends were included: Pimento Bloody Mary, Scotch Bonnet Jerk, and Poivre Melange. I had never heard of Poivre Melange so I was most excited to try this one, though I was also intrigued by the Scotch Bonnet Jerk since I have recently visited the Caribbean and am looking to replicate some of the meals I ate there.



All of the spices come in 3 ounce packets that list all of the spices included in the blend. This is helpful if you have an allergy or need to list all the ingredients in a dish. There is enough of each spice included to experiment with a few different dishes.



I was intrigued by the recipes they included with the spices. There was a recipe for Bloody Mary Mango Salad, Jerk Chicken Wings, and Black Pepper Ice Cream. Make all three and you'll have a complete meal that will rock your taste buds.
