I've used a lot of wood cutting boards in my time and they inevitably stain or warp. This Totally Bamboo cutting board looks great even after I chopped a whole bunch of veggies on it. I even sawed away at some French bread with a serrated knife, and the cutting board held up without showing any signs of the action. I hand washed my cutting board pretty easily. Apparently, Totally Bamboo sells oil to renew your bamboo cutting board, which I might try out in the future. For now, it still looks new after a solid weekend of chopping and dicing vegetables, and cutting away at hard bread. This cutting board definitely seems like it will last under regular use in my kitchen.
