No Peek Beef Casserole
Usually when people make slow cooker recipes, they like to check the pot to see how the dish is cooking, with this no peek beef casserole, peeking's not allowed. Best left to itself, this beef slow cooker recipe can cook all by itself.

I have to use something other than mushrooms because I am allergic. Do you have a preference of what might go best in this recipe besides mushrooms? I love the use of the no peek method because some dishes are just better left alone instead of checking on them and letting all the moisture out every time you open the crock pot.

Hi SissieSass, I would try using a can of cream of celery soup and just leaving out the canned mushrooms. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I would probably add in a few more spices for a bit of extra flavor, but this would make a great cozy winter stew.

bobbysfan1 - Browning the meat first will give it more flavor, but it's up to you whether you want to brown first or not. Thanks! Blair, Editor, AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

Who knows? The link to the recipe is broken. Too bad there has to be the extra click to see the recipe. Why not just have the link in the email go to the actual recipe instead of a page for another click? Just an unneeded hassle.
