Just a note on slow cookers. All are not the same. My Dollar Store slow cooker worked great until it bit the dust. I purchased a West Bend from Amazon. It had high praise. I realized it only had a high, low and warm setting which was disappointing. Cooked an all night recipe on low and it was burned by morning. That would never have happened on the old cooker. Before you throw a recipe out you might wonder about your cooker. Can't rate the recipe. This is just fyi.
