I make this without thawing the frozen veggies, and I sometimes use a garden variety with broccoli ,cauliflower, carrots, etc and will add just a bit of celery and use cream/ celery soup or cream of chicken) and freh grated cheddars or whatever bits of cheese I have left over ... tastes great!
