Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken

*Recipe calls for plastic slow cooker liner bag, but it is not necessary unless you plan on cooking two meals together in the slow cooker in separate liner bags.

Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion, to garnish
Instructions

Insert plastic slow cooker liner bag into slow cooker.

Add chicken to the bottom of the liner.

Stir together brown sugar, ketchup, ginger, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce in a small bowl.

Pour over chicken.

Reserve red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and green onions to top finished dish for serving.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
