Pretty In Pink Pretzel Bites
Peppermint Coated Pretzel Candy is perfect for making during the holidays because it's extremely customizable based on the time of year. We've made these especially for Valentine's Day, so they're perfectly pink with festive sprinkles. By melting white chocolate in your slow cooker with Crisco, and adding some vanilla and red food coloring, you'll have a delectable dipping "sauce" for pretzels. Top them off with a bit of your favorite sprinkles, and you'll have some easy homemade treats that will put smiles on everyone's face.

Ingredients
- 20 ounce almond bark candy coating, chopped into 1-inch pieces
- 6 ounce white baking chocolate, broken or chopped
- 3 tablespoon butter-flavored solid shortening (such as Crisco)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (16-ounce) package of pretzels (i.e. Nibblers by Snyders of Hanover)

In a 4-quart slow cooker, place candy coating, baking chocolate, and shortening. Turn on low and cook until completely melted, about 1 ½ hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

Prepare two large cookie sheets by lining with wax paper or parchment.

When mixture can be stirred smooth, add vanilla and food coloring. Pour into a large bowl and gently stir in pretzels, tossing until coated.

Spoon onto bake sheets and add decorative sprinkles as desired while chocolate is still soft.

Cool completely, then store in an airtight container, divided by sheets of wax paper. Store in a cool place until ready to serve.
