Barbecue Pita

Pita pockets are a fun take on the standard pulled pork sandwich. After the slow cooker does the work, they come together in just minutes. This Barbecue Pita recipe is a great weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 pound Byron's fully cooked BBQ pork
  • 12 pita pockets
  • leaf lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Heat BBQ tray according to package instructions. Alternatively, place thawed product in slow-cooker and heat on high for 4 hours.

  3. Cut pita pockets in half. Place leaf lettuce in each pocket.

  4. Spoon hot BBQ into each pita pocket half. Serve and enjoy.
