The Swiss Diamond Nonstick Sauté Pan with Lid is an essential piece of cookware that you will use day in and day out. The nonstick pan is perfect for sautéing vegetables, browning beef, and making sauces. Clean up is made simple with Swiss Diamond pans; a light rinse is truly all it will need!
The sauté pan is 4.3 quarts large and 11" in diameter. This large size makes it much easier to sauté all kinds of foods without making a mess of your kitchen or having to work in batches. With heat resistance up to 500 degree F, this is a great pan for starting a casserole or side dish on the stove and finishing it in the oven.
The tempered lid has an adjustable steam vent so you can have complete control over how much heat is being released while cooking. I also like that the lid is made of clear glass which makes it easier to monitor the food beneath the lid. Being able to put the pan in the oven with the lid on makes this pan one of the most versatile I have ever used.
Swiss Diamond has designed the ultimate cooking surface to meet a home cook's needs. The cookware is made with cast aluminum and the nonstick coating is made with actual diamonds. The combination of materials is made to last a lifetime. Not only is the surface completely nonstick, but the pan also distributes heat evenly so food won't be overcooked or undercooked in some parts.
The handle on the pan is made from a material that actually stays cool to the touch. I've been known to burn my hands while cooking, but this pan keeps me from hurting myself. It is also quite comfortable to grip. This makes it easy to toss food while sautéing.
This is my go-to pan for so many different recipes. I use it to brown meat before putting it into the slow cooker. I also love using it to make different vegetable recipes and even casserole dishes.
I was incredibly impressed by how easy this pan is to clean no matter what you make in it. A little water pressure is usually enough to get all the grease and grime off the surface. If even a rinse sounds like too much work, then you can even put the pan directly in the dishwasher; it doesn't get more versatile than that.
