We have a close family friend who visited over the weekend. He drives a semi truck for a living, and frequently is sent to Georgia and South Carolina for his job. He frequents the restaurants and bars down there to get a quick bite to eat after his shift, and says that these boiled peanuts are everywhere! He said they were awesome, so I am so glad I was able to find a recipe on this site!

LOVE Boiled Peanuts. Originating in the 'north', I never heard of them until I moved to FL. WOW! How deprived I was for decades. This is a GREAT recipe for those who like their boiled peanuts 'cajun' style with spice and heat.
