What is kitchen bouquet? I am guessing it is a spice mix, but I have never heard of it before now. Where do you get it? I think this dish sounds really good. I can't wait til it gets chilly outside and I can make it for a cool night when you just want some kind of comfort food to warm you up inside.

Hi SissieSass, Kitchen Bouquet is a bottled browning and seasoning sauce. It can be found in most grocery stores in the aisle with gravy mixes. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

This is an excellent way to stretch the budget and serve my hubby the meat he enjoys. I have always substituted Golden Mushroom soup for the more creamy texture we really don't care for. After cooking I remove the mushroom tidbits too. This particular soup has a very nice flavor and I don't notice the mushroom taste. Now that we are mainly empty nesters these kinds of budget helpers are crucial. This works nicely with stew beef cuts too. The meat will be tender and easy to pull apart if desired. You can use cream of celery soup for a different taste.
