This looks like such a delicious pizza casserole recipe! Most pizza casserole recipes do not include bread, or a crust, because then it would just be a pizza. Casseroles tend to include pasta instead, just like this one. I am going to try this recipe, in the slow cooker of course!

Where's the bread? I think I would make this, and then I would put this in bread and wrap it up like a calzone. And then I'd call it a pizza casserole calzone. In bread.

The slow cooker version of this recipe is still not quite dump and go, since you have to boil the pasta and brown the meat. I do think it would make a great meal, whether as a casserole or as a slow-cooked meal. I would go light on the pepperoni, but add black olives.

The submitter of this recipe calls this "Sausage Pepperoni Pizza Casserole." This site has a lot of nerve calling it a dump go recipe. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!

SouthernMaster If you go to the blog link, the recipe shows instructions for both a casserole dish and a slow cooker version, which is a dump and go-style recipe. Thanks for pointing out the original intent of the recipe, we just wanted to make sure readers knew they could make it in a slow cooker as well. -Editor, AFSCR.com

In both recipes, pasta sausage have to be cooked and drained. Again, this is not a dump go recipe.
