I do not know what biscuit dough would taste like as a dumpling. My dumplings have always been baking soda and flour based, and just plopped in. I think these would have a different consistency than I am used to. The recipe as a whole sounds delicious! It's got plenty of chicken to feed an entire family.

Oh my goodness! I have been looking for a fast chicken and dumpling recipe. Do you use celery in yours at all? I know you said add it to taste, but it just isn't the same without it. I was thinking that three or four stalks would work great in this recipe.
