I would measure out the 8oz called for.... this is approx half of 15.25 4 oz would never cover the apples enough to call it a cake...

The recipe states to add half of the dry cake mix (8oz of a 15.25 oz box) over the apples. For this recipe, are we using a total of 4oz or was there a misprint? This looks like an interesting recipe.
