Can you use any kind of nuts in this recipe? I want to use the pecans but we can't due to an allergy. I think honey roasted peanuts or some chocolate covered pretzels chopped up would go well with this dish. What do you think? Would you go with white, dark, or milk chocolate pretzels if you used them?

Hi SissieSass, you could either leave out the pecans or replace them with peanuts as you suggested.
