Wow, seeing as how I always seem to struggle a day before Christmas making all kinds of last minute treats for last minute dinner guests.... this can be my new impressive gifting offer for all those people! They sell nice little candy or small treat boxes with a viewing window and a handle, and these treats in the paper cups will fit in there perfectly. I seriously had no idea it would be so easy to make my own peppermint candies. I think I would even use Ande's mints crushed up in the chocolate mix!

These look beautiful and tasty. It's a good thing I have more than one slow cooker, with all the recipes I'm wanting to try. Any recipe with peppermint candy reminds me of my childhood. My dad loved peppermints, so for Christmas I would buy him a bag of peppermint candy. I even made him a peppermint cheesecake from scratch about twenty-five years ago, but I have no idea where that recipe went!
