Overall I liked the flavor of this dish, but ground meat would have tasted better than chunks. Definitely a good recipe for Thanksgiving leftovers!

This was a tasty, all-in-one meal. I like making pies like this with leftover mashed potatoes, so I may make this after Thanksgiving this year.

Not a traditional Sheppard pie, but still pretty good. I would try it with ground lamb and broil it so the top gets nice and crispy.

I wouldn't really consider this to be shepherd's pie, but it was still super delicious.

This was a nice hearty meal. But there seemed to be much more potato topping than ground beef filling.

mkds47katz 7830610 - Which jambalaya did you try? We'd love to know! I think you commented on the wrong recipe :). Thanks for sharing, nonetheless! Editor, AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes.com

This is my first slow cooler jambalaya and it turned out great. I used a little of Tony Chacere's seasoning, cajun, just because of the kick it has. Pot was empty after dinner for 5 so that is definitely a good sign. I also used smaller shrimp because that was what I had fresh, and a few more of them, because we are shrimp lovers. Remember smaller shrimp require less time or they will toughen up. Will do this one again.
