Chili dogs are such a great go-to on busy nights, right? You can throw in some fries, slice a few peppers, grab some chips, or cook some veggies and mac and cheese. The wieners are so versatile that you can pair them with just about anything. They go great on a pretzel bun.

O WOW! I really like chili dogs but I've never made them from scratch. It looks like this has an interesting sweet/heat with the catchup/brown sugar and the chili powder/cumin. I also like that the recipe has green peppers and onions in it--got to get those veggies! The only thing I would change up is I think I would cook up the ground beef before I put it in the crockpot so I could cook or drain off the oil. That seems a bit healthier to me. Sooooo ladies staaaaart your crockpots!
