This sounds absolutely divine, but I was wondering where you get the mustard powder, or can you use something else instead? My husband is not a fan of mustard, but he really loves his mayo. I think this would be great for all of us because we like to eat a lot for brunch instead of eating two meals on the weekends. That way we can sleep in.

Hi SissieSass, dry mustard can usually be found in the spice aisle. However, if you're not crazy about the mustard flavor, I think leaving it out would be fine. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

Hubby and I don't do much cooking especially on the weekends but sometimes want a home cooked breakfast meal. This is an awesome breakfast meal without standing over a hot stove. I will definitely make this recipe next weekend. My hubby will be surprised to have such a delicious breakfast before he goes to work.

This looks great, but I have a lot of 'make ahead breakfast casserole' recipes saved that I haven't tried yet. I like that this one adds hot sauce and hot sausage.

Interesting- I use a recipe that has saltine crackers in to absorb the moisture but this one with bread sounds good too.

I love easy breakfasts when there's company. This is very similar to one I make, and our friends and family absolutely love it! (We use diced, partially cooked potatoes instead of bread.) My first crock pot was a Hamilton - I bought a new one last year when my husband accidentally dropped the liner and broke it (after 34 years - no, really - 34 years!)
