This is currently making my mouth water -) It looks like a great family dinner night dish when served over the freshly made white rice. Know what I would add? A vegetable, because I am like that- trying to incorporate more veg in my daily life. It needs carrots. Simple steamed carrots. Probably could add them in the last hour of cooking.

I can't use the mushroom soup because I am allergic. Do you think I could use cream of celery in this dish? I would have suggested cream of chicken, but I think the celery would pair really well with the onion in this dish. I want to try this over mashed potatoes like a beef hotshot to see what it tastes like compared to my moms beef hotshot.
