What a yummy recipe. I love oatmeal and usually have it a few times a week. Breakfast is important to me and I find oatmeal filling. I have to get some ingredients for this but prep time is nothing and it will cook in a couple hours. I am sure I can warm up extras. Thank you for the free recipe.

This oatmeal sounds delicious, but I would not have 1 1/2-2 hours to wait for it to cook in the morning, unless it's the weekend. Has anyone tried to make this the night before and reheat it? I am thinking that would be the only way I could get this made during the week. However, I don't want to try that if I know it is going to turn out gross being reheated.

If you didn't want to get up a couple hours early, you might be able to assemble this in the slow cooker the night before, refrigerate, and let time do it's magic on the oatmeal. The liquid ingredients will hydrate the oats while you sleep, really cutting down on the cooking time. I will have to try it this way!
