The step by step photographs for this lasagna prep are so helpful! I have an oval shaped slow cooker, so breaking up the lasagna noodle takes a lot of the fuss out of it. You could toast some panko crumbs with a little pat of butter in a skillet for a really crunchy topping. Much healthier than a breaded fried chicken cutlet!

This looks like a good keeper recipe. I think it would be awesome to come home after work and have this ready for dinner. I have never tried whole wheat lasagna noodles, but this would be a great way to try them out. I might add a layer of spinach, just because I love the additional color and the taste of veggies in lasagna. Just make a salad to go along with this and you've got a great dinner!

my family loves lasagna and chicken parmesan, so this is sure to be a hit. I have a slow cooker lasagna recipe and I use regular lasagna noodles. It always turns out fine. Can't wait to try this delicious idea. Thanks for the great recipe!
