Can I just omit the water and use two cans of chicken gravy, or my own from chicken stock? I think it would turn out better than the dry mix. I just never have any good luck with the mix. It always comes out too dry or way too thin when I try to make a dish with it.

Hi SissieSass, that should work. Just make sure the amount of canned gravy you use is roughly the equivalent of the 1 3/4 cups water that you'll be omitting. Just so you get a similar consistency. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
