Slow Cooker Bananas Foster
Here is a delicious variation of a classic dessert created in New Orleans in 1951. Slow Cooker Bananas Foster is a wonderful treat with less calories but still the flavors you would expect. Although more complicated when made in a restaurant, this is a simpler version made in your slow cooker for all to enjoy. Containing only 5 ingredients, bananas, fruit spread, cinnamon, butter and brown sugar, this easy recipe will serve as a winner at a small dinner party and a fancier gathering.

I would never think that you could make a dessert like this in the crock pot. This is one of the harder desserts to get just right in my book. I have seen many talented cooks get this one wrong in so many ways. Good idea for a quick and easy way to make this classic dish.

What a wonderful dessert offering for those of us who are Weight Watchers, like me! This is so cool to be able to have a recipe which includes my Smart Points already figured in for me. I would like to serve this over my French toast for breakfast. Equally as tasty served with some real vanilla bean ice cream.

My hubby is going to love this dessert when I made it. He love bananas. I will have to have a substitute for the apricot spread. We don't eat apricots.
