Slow Cooker Apple Cider
"Each year around this time, my family enjoys apple cider that I buy at the grocery store. This year I decided to make it myself. I looked up many recipes and then decided to wing it and make up my own. Then, the decision to make it on the stove or in the slow cooker. Defiantly the slow cooker. I had errands to do and couldn’t stay home to watch a pot on the stove. This was so simple to prepare and when the front door opened, the house smelled divine! I’m seriously telling you the house smelled so wonderful like cinnamon and apples. When the family came home the cider was finished cooking but the scent still filled the entire house. Store bought is fine but, after drinking homemade cider, there is no comparing. Homemade wins by far. We enjoyed it hot but, you can store in the fridge for days and enjoy cold. Just a note, whatever leftover you have, bake up a batch of muffins, donuts, apple pie bars, or cupcakes with this amazing cider. "
