How can you not use your cast iron skillet to sear the meat you put in your crock pot? It does such a good job making a nice char on the meat. I am very interested in the peach salsa addition to this dish. I have not used it in the past, but I am wanting to try it. Now, I have a good reason to make up some and use it fresh. Thanks!
