Easy Slow Cooker Irish Stew
We have a phenominal recipe to serve on St. Patrick's Day, but it is also a great all-round recipe to serve in the fall and winter especially for those nights when you need something warm and flavorful to fill you up. Easy Slow Cooker Irish Stew is an amazing recipe that your family will ask for again and again. This stew uses pork shoulder instead of beef, which will bring some amazing tastes into your broth that you are not expecting. Adding a little of your favorite stout also helps to ramp up the flavor of this traditional dish that you will not be able to live without.

Just as long as you remove any big fatty pieces from the pork shoulder, this is a great substitute for what they label as "stew meat" at the supermarket. Many times you just don't know what cut of beef you are getting. That is how they use up the scraps. Not having to peel the potatoes or chop the carrots is an added bonus!

I am always looking for stew recipes, my husband loves stews and usually they are so easy to make too. I also love the fact that pork is used instead of beef. Trying to get away from red meat is sometimes quite difficult so this looks like it could the perfect solution.
