I have always wanted to jump on the white chili train. This recipe seems like the perfect opportunity for me to do so. I am quite surprised at the hominy, that being said, I LOVE hominy! I would really take that an run with it, by adding a healthy dash of fresh chopped cilantro on my plate before serving. What a different dinner choice for me! Literally, you throw it all in the slow cooker. That's it. No mixing or browning beforehand.
