Parmesan and cheddar together? I can't wait to sample this chicken dish and see what the combination tastes like. I don't think I have ever used the two cheeses together. I do a lot of mozzarella and parmesan cheese in dishes like lasagna, but I can't remember using the other two together.

This was dinner last night. So, tasty. Everyone really enjoyed it. My Crock Pot cooks very hot and fast. We didn't get everything in the pot until after 1 pm. At 330 the chicken was done (from frozen), by 530 dinner was done, maybe even before then. I was a bit concerned by using biscuits, (never had them as dumplings or cooked them in a crock pot). I was pleasantly surprised. When everything is done cooking, it is a very thin broth. The cheese really helps to thicken and pull together. Side note I forgot to add the cheddar before serving, we added to our bowls. Will definitely make this again.

Just the name of this recipe lets me know we will love it. We really like cheese and chicken and garlic! This is an easy slow cooker recipe that would be good any time of year because it won't heat up the kitchen. I never associate dumplings with cheese or with garlic so I can't wait to make this some weekend soon.
