Do you remember the birthday cake recipes that they used to make about twenty years ago where they had the chips in the mix, the first generation sprinkle cakes? I know your recipe reminds me of those first cakes. I was a little girl, and my sister and I were so excited to get a birthday cake with cherry chips in the mix. It was such a neat thing for kids our age.
