If you are going to use the pumpkin puree and the pumpkin spice, then couldn't you just use the pumpkin pie filling in a can? I love custard recipes, but I have never tried to make one in the crock pot. I think I will put this recipe in the mix for fall. We love to try new pumpkin recipes every fall to see what new favorites we can find.
