Simple Slow Cooker Salsa
This recipe for Simple Slow Cooker Salsa is great for summer barbecues and gatherings. It makes enough for a big crowd or leftovers. Fresh Roma tomatoes and canned plum tomatoes combine for a fresh salsa recipe. Onion, jalapenos, cilantro, and garlic add flavor to the salsa. Feel free to add or remove jalapenos as needed. Garnish your slow cooker salsa with fresh cilantro and serve with tortilla chips. Whatever salsa is leftover would be perfect as a topping on tacos.

Could I leave out the cilantro, or is it necessary for the salsa? Is there something else that I could use in place of it? I always taste soap when I eat it, so I never use it in my dishes. Do you use regular white onions or vidalia onions?

Hi SissisSass, if you don't like the taste of cilantro you could leave it out entirely, or you could try using fresh parsley or basil instead. Adding in some green bell pepper would also help make up for the lack of cilantro. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
