Instead of the cream of mushroom soup, can I just add more of the alfredo sauce to the mix? I cannot have the mushrooms, but this recipe sounds so delicious. I guess cream cheese might work well in this case too, but I am not sure if it would add enough salt like the cream of mushroom soup would.
