Is there something I can use in place of the chiles in adobo? I have never used that ingredient before, and I have no clue where to even look for it in the grocery store. I love the other spices and veggies, although I am sure the adobo is what gives the dish its signature flavor.

Hi SissieSass, chiles in adobo can usually be found in the Mexican food aisle of the grocery store. They come in a can or a jar. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
