The next time you are feeling a little under the weather, rather than opting for the old standby chicken noodle soup, try this recipe instead! It is packed with nutritious vegetables and protein, is creamy and satisfying, and will have you feeling better in no time! Since there is no pasta, it freezes well too, which is an added bonus!

I know summer is coming to the East Coast but it has been raining a lot and damp. I love sweet potatoes and I will eat this soup regardless. I like the combination of the sweet and savory. I also like the fact you do not add the cream until the end. I will not shred the chicken though since I am not fond of that but will cut in small pieces. Can't wait to make this soup! Thank you.
