I see that you have a little powdered sugar on the whole cake and then some whipped cream on the slice. Do you garnish this dessert with those items every time or was it just for the photo? I bet this would be good with some cherry pie filling in the recipe too, but I am not sure how well the gingerbread would go with cherry.
