I love apple crisp, so I will definitely need to try this recipe in the slow cooker. What a neat idea for dessert!

What a welcome change to the usual pecan pie and pumpkin pie for the holidays. You know, not everyone loves pie! This recipe is simply cinnamon and spice apples with a lovely, crunchy oat (with almond, too) topping. It's not fancy and not difficult to prepare! It is a family dish that not only is perfect for the holidays, but is easily made on any work weeknight, too! Just love that caramel drizzle and the a la mode.
