What are sultanas? I remember making fruit cake with my grandma each Christmas. She loved making it ahead of time and having some for the New Year too. She would make extras and give them out to friends that stopped by over the holidays too. Everyone loved to come and visit and go home with some tasty fruitcake after filling up on candies and nuts while they were at her house. It was so fun!

Hi SissieSass, sultanas in the UK and Europe are essentially the same as golden raisins in the U.S. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
