My mom makes a chocolate version of a poke cake in the oven with a yellow mix. I love cakes like this. I like that this one is strawberry because that is not a flavor you normally get in a cake. The chocolate whipped cream is the best topping to put on the cake. I love it!

This is a pretty cake, and a very easy recipe at that. I'm not sure about finding strawberry pudding mix in my local stores. I will definitely be on the lookout this week because I want to make this soon. I would serve it with sliced strawberries and Cool Whip.

I have got to try this strawberry supreme poke cake! It must be served immediately, and there's no way to keep leftovers of this- but I am sure the whole family will eat it all up, so no worries there. It's a fresh strawberry flavor.. and I wonder if I could add some sliced strawberries for a garnish. Delish!

It sounds delicious, but it's misleading to say 4 ingredients when you still have a handful of ingredients from the cake mix to use as well (you know, eggs, oil, water, etc)

bobbiesavon 1487555 We apologize for any misleading information. In the future, when we state a number of ingredients, we are most often referring to main ingredients, which the blogger has provided in their full recipe. Thanks! -Editor, AFSCR.com
