After simmering for hours in the slow cooker, the pork tenderloin, which is a very lean meat, always becomes super tender and juicy and will practically melt in your mouth on that very first bite. There are only 5 ingredients in the dry rub you put on the easy slow cooker pork tenderloin first, then the pork is smothered with a mix of apple butter, apple cider vinegar and a little whole grain mustard. I made this last night. I had a pork loin and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. This was the perfect recipe to find. I had homemade apple butter in the pantry, and it went with this perfectly. The smell as this was cooking was amazing! It was hard to wait for it to be done. The recipe is very easy to follow. I didn't have any grits on hand, so I made mashed potatoes with the ingredients for the grits. It was delicious! Next time I am going to try to have grits!
