I like to use skirt steak for this recipe since it is very inexpensive. Plus, it is usually sold in thin slices so it really makes the prep work a breeze. I am trying to cut down on my carbs, so I like to stuff mine into a lettuce wrap. It also makes a great filling for quick pan - fried quesadillas!

I'm a sucker for a good Philly Cheesesteak. I'm even more of a sucker for a recipe that involves the slow cooker. Can't wait to try this!

I need to make lunch for a work day on Sunday and this recipe looks perfect. It looks like one recipe feeds about 6 people, so I'll probably need to double or even triple the recipe. I'm guessing that all I need to do differently is increase the cooking time by an hour or so. Does that sound right?

I want to make this for my family, but we have eight of us. What would you recommend the cooking time to be for making three and a half or four pounds of this at a time? My family likes to take the leftovers to school and work for lunch the following day.

I tried this out and it was really good. I was pleased with how easy it was to prepare. I used a cheaper cut of meat but with the time it cooked it was very tender. I will certainly make this again! Forgot to mention that I toasted the rolls...added bonus.

My boys love philly cheese steaks and get it when they go out to a certain restaurant because most places the meat is to tough. Great idea to put in in the crock pot so it comes out tender. I never realized that you could make so many different things in the crock pot and did not realize the onions and peppers would cook in it. I must give this a try. simple easy and fast and I always try to make fresh french fries. I think I will add some A1 sauce to it to spice it up some. Thanks for the recipe.
