Would it be better to use brown or white sugar in this recipe? I am thinking with the white sugar it will blend better with the cream cheese. I think you recipe sounds amazing, but I have never heard of using cream cheese in corn before either. I can't wait to try it.

Yes! The cream cheese together with the corn gives that corn a lovely creamy and sweet tang to it. I can imagine this on my holiday table this Thanksgiving. Or, perhaps this can be served for a summer buffet/picnic. It would be a welcome change to the usual potato salad or macaroni salad or coleslaw, don't you think? The recipe could not be more simpler!
