"The flower is white to purple, with a five-lobed corolla and yellow stamens. The egg-shaped glossy purple fruit has white flesh with a meaty texture. The cut surface of the flesh rapidly turns brown when the fruit is cut open. This is delicious easy to cook recipe for vegetarians. It was an easy meal and didn’t take long in the slow cooker which is perfect for a lunch or just make sure you don’t start cooking it until later in the day. If you cook for 8 hours you’ll have a mushy mess!"
