This soup has a very pretty presentation, since it is so colorful! The flavors in this soup balance out perfectly - a little saltiness from the bacon, the sweetness of the corn, and the heartiness of the potatoes make it a great combination. Id like to serve it in a bread bowl. A meal in itself.

Doesn't the picture of the soup make you hungry? Who needs to go out to a restaurant for soup? What a wonderful hearty meal--potatoes, bacon, and corn in a creamy soup! All it needs is a loaf of crusty French bread to slice up and dip into it and there's a great winter meal!
