Since she suggests serving this along with naan and rice, I am assuming this is a die dish of sorts. After reading the ingredients, it's got a little bit of everything! It is such a healthy dish. I imagine that it has a great earthy taste to it, which would go great with the naan and a drizzle of that yogurt sauce. I am getting ideas now... something different for my family!

I had never heard of sag aloo. It looks and sounds delicious. Also I never knew you could fry vegetables in a slow cooker to start with. That makes it so easy. And then you add the other ingredients. How easy is that! I try not to eat a lot of meat and with a meal like this you don't have to. This is going on my list. I have to buy some of the seasoning but that is fine. I love to try new cuisines. Thank you.
