Do you think it would be a big deal to leave out the mushrooms or use something else in place of them? I cannot have them due to an allergy, but I love the rest of the ingredients. I want to make this for a party we have coming up in a few days.

Hmm, this sounds like a pretty basic but delicious party dip to please an entire crowd of people. I just wish Velveeta was not so pricey. I would buy it more often! For me, I am not sure about the mushrooms in this recipe, although my whole family likes mushrooms- maybe just not in this dip. You can easily double this. I find that dips tend to disappear pretty quickly and there never seems to be enough. Dig in!
