Herbed Roast and Gravy in the Slow Cooker
Here is a wonderful easy slow cooker roast recipe to serve for a holiday dinner gathering or nicer dinner at your home. Herbed Roast and Gravy in the Slow Cooker is a great centerpiece dish to build a menu for a nicer event. Making a roast in the slow cooker is a wonderful thing. While it simmers along for several hours it has the chance to drink in the juices of your onion, beef, broth, cooking wine, Worcestershire sauce and other added seasonings and become soft and tender. You serve your slow cooker gravy over the meat when serving. You can also serve your meat and gravy over mashed potatoes. Delightful dish for a special night.

Are the measurements for the rosemary and thyme for dried herbs or fresh? I like the use of the worcestershire sauce in this dish because beef is just so much better with that deep, dark taste. I love using it in my burger recipe too. I just marinate them a little while and then cook them with some of the condiment added on top.

Hi SissieSass, I would assume that dried herbs were used in this recipe, since the measurements are given in teaspoons. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
