How much dried thyme would I use instead of the sprigs? I have a whole jar in the cabinet, but I have no fresh thyme right now. I think this sounds like a good dinner recipe to have on hand for the really cold nights outside when everyone wants something hearty to fill them up and get them warm.

Hi SissieSass, I'd go with about 2 teaspoons of dried thyme instead of the 4 sprigs. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
