Creamy Slow Cooker Apple Butter

This is a very nice recipe to make if you are holding a special breakfast or brunch and it can also serve as a lovely holiday gift. Slow Cooker Apple Butter spreads nicely on a piece of toast, a muffin or a croissant. It does not take long to make and is a wonderfully creamy treat for a special occasion meal. During fall's apple season it is especially nice to take home freshly picked apples and break out the slow cooker and food processor to make this sweet treat. Once you scoop it into jars it also freezes nicely for future events or gifts.
