Hi kmobellini, when you click through to the recipe, you'll see that it calls for a can of cream of chicken soup as well as water, so there will be enough liquid for the chicken to cook properly. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

I would totally take that short cut/cheat and use a packet of ranch dressing dry seasoning mix. I am all for meals that are tasty and require as little effort from me as possible. I have not cooked with chicken thighs as is suggested here. I always eat chicken breast. I know that a darker meat is more flavorful than white meat. This would be a good dish for me to make using chicken thighs for my first time. They are always on sale at my grocery store. My mouth is watering looking at that picture!

Thanks for the delicious recipe. What a wonderfully creamy and cheesy recipe. I love the way chicken turns out after it has been in the slow cooker all day. It just falls apart and it is still moist. We love this with rice or noodles. They are both wonderful weekend meals, served with a vegetable or two.
